              ※    Spring Semester admission will be opened if there is not enough enrollment in the fall semester.

  • Application Website: https://www.ncku.edu.tw/p/412-1000-14248.php?Lang=en
  • Register for only ONE account (please use your email address as your username) on the application portal.
  • Verify your email address, then log in to fill out information and choose a maximum of three departments/institutes.
  • Upload all required and department/institute additional required (if applicable) documents to the corresponding category (PDF format only).
  • Pay the application fee of NT$2,000 by bank transfer or credit card.
  • Before submitting the application, double-check if all information and documents are provided correctly.
  • A notification email to the recommenders will be sent after submitting your application.
    • For facilitating the submission of the two recommendation letters, there are 3 ways listed below, as long as there is a minimum of TWO recommendation letters in your application.
    1. Upload by yourself
    2. Upload or fill out the content by your recommenders via the link provided in the notification email.
    3. Invited recommenders in your application can email the letter to us, and we can help upload it.

Scholarship

Brief Introduction

Dept. of Industrial & Information Management

Undergraduate:

  1. Most courses are conducted in Chinese with the usage of English materials. Applicants should have fluent listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities in Chinese and English.
  2. Applicants are required to provide a Chinese proficiency certificate (equivalent to TOCFL Level 2 or above) or other official certificates as alternatives.
  3. Applicants from Chinese-speaking societies or countries (e.g., Malaysia, Singapore), or those who have studied and obtained a diploma from full Chinese-taught programs can provide official school/university statements to waive the Chinese proficiency requirement.
  4. Applicants providing at least one of the following English proficiency test scores taken within the preceding two years will be favored for review:
    1. Minimum New TOEIC score of 785
    2. Minimum TOEFL iBT score of 72
    3. GEPT (General English Proficiency Test) High-Intermediate Level
    4. IELTS 5.5, with every section rank no less than 5.0
  5. For bachelor applicants, online interviews will be arranged if needed. The online interview details will be notified by the department.

Graduate program:

  1. Priority goes to applicants with Chinese lesson credits or a certificate for a Chinese Proficiency test.
  2. Applicants must provide an English proficiency certificate (at CEFR B2 or above) taken within the preceding two years.
  3. Applicants from Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and the United States of America, etc., where English is the official language, or those who have studied and earned a degree in these countries, can provide official university statements to waive the English proficiency test scores.
  4. Applicants interested in applying for the NCKU scholarship are advised to visit the department website and reach out to potential advisors. Failure to interview with professors from our department may result in an inability to secure admission and the NCKU scholarship.
  5. For master's program applicants, online interviews will be arranged if needed. For Ph.D. program applicants, online interviews are required for admission. The online interview details will be notified by the department.
