              ※    Spring Semester admission will be opened if there is not enough enrollment in the fall semester.

  • Application Website: https://www.ncku.edu.tw/p/412-1000-14248.php?Lang=en
  • Register for only ONE account (please use your e-mail address as your username) on the application portal.
  • Verify your e-mail address, then log in to fill out information and choose maximum three departments/institutes. 
  • Upload all required and department/institution additional required (if applicable) documents to the corresponding category (PDF formats only)
  • Pay the application fee of NT$2,000 by bank transfering or credit card.
  • Before submitting application, double-check if all information and documents are provided correctly.
  • Notification email to the recommenders will be sent after submitting your application.
    •  For facilitating two recommendation letters, there are 3 ways listed below to provide, as long as there are minimum TWO recommendation letters in your application. 
    1. Upload by yourself
    2. Upload or fill out the content by your recommenders via the link provided in the notification email.
    3. Invited recommenders in your application can email the letter to us, and we can help upload.

Scholarship

Brief Introduction

Dept. of Industrial & Information Management

Undergraduate:

  1.  
  2. Most courses are conducted in Chinese with the usage of English materials. Applicants should have fluent listening, speaking, reading, and writing ability in Chinese and English.
  3. Applicants are required to provide a Chinese proficiency certificate (equivalent to TOCFL Level 2 or above) or other official certificate as alternatives.
  4. Applicants from Chinese-speaking societies or countries (eg. Malaysia, Singapore), or have studied and obtained a diploma with full Chinese-taught programs can provide the official school /university statements and waive the Chinese proficiency requirement.
  5. Applicants provide at least one of the following English proficiency test scores which were taken within the preceding two years will be favorable for review.
    1. Minimum New TOEIC score 785
    2. Minimum TOEFL score of internet-based at least 72
    3. GEPT (General English Proficiency Test) High-Intermediate Level
    4. IELTS 5.5, and every section rank no less than 5.0
  6. For bachelor applicants, online interviews will be arranged if needed. The online interview details will be notified by the department.

Graduate program:

  1. Priority goes to the applicants with Chinese lesson credits or a certificate for Chinese Proficiency test.
  2. Applicants have to provide English proficiency certificate (at CEFR B2 or above), which were taken within the preceding two years.
  3. Applicants from Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and United States of America, etc., where English is the official language or have studied and earned degree in these countries can provide the official university statements and waive the English proficiency test scores.
  4. Applicants interested in applying for the NCKU scholarship are advised to visit the department website and reach out to potential advisors. Failure to interview with professors from our department may result in an inability to secure admission and the NCKU scholarship.
  5. For master program applicants, online interviews will be arranged if needed. For Ph.D. program applicants, online interviews are required to be admitted. The online interview details will be notified by the department.
